Purpose, scope and users

The purpose of this document is to clearly define quickclaim’s privacy policy and share it with individuals who are using the quicklaim application.  Users of this document are people registering to the quickclaim application.

Collection of your personal information

For accessing quickclaim applications you are required to register personally identifiable information. This may include general information about you including name, email address and phone number. We are using the Auth0 service as a trusted third party to manage your personal information. You can find Auth0 privacy policy here.

If you don’t want to register your personal information with us you can use your Google Account to login to our application and use our services. When you login via your Google Account, Google will share your personal information including your name, email address and photo with us and we use that personal information to identify you, but we won’t save your information in our systems.

Sharing of your personal information

We may occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, including but not limited to handling customer support enquiries, processing transactions or customer analytics. Those companies will be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to deliver the service. We take reasonable steps to ensure that these organisations are bound by confidentiality and privacy obligations in relation to the protection of your personal information.

Use of your personal information

For you to be able to access the right information we keep a record of your organisation. This includes your organisation’s name, website, address, ABN, NDIS details. We only use your personal information to identify you and give you access to your data.

Our application records audit and security logs of all activity you perform in our system. This data is to help us secure your environment. This data is securely stored in our environment and may collect information like your browser type, your IP and the action performed by you within the application.

We may also use your personal information for marketing and direct communications.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time but you can always access the updated privacy policy within the app. Please contact us at support@quickclaim.io  if you have any question or concern in regards to our privacy policy.

Security of your personal information

We are committed to ensuring that the information you provide to us is secured and protected against misuse, loss, interference, unauthorised access or disclosure.

Accessing Your Personal Information

You have a right to access your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law. You can access and update your information within the app otherwise please contact us at support@quickclaim.io and we help you to find your information or update it.

Direct marketing and communications

Where we use your personal information to send you marketing material, supporter communications, and invitations to participate in research by post, email or telephone, we will provide you with an opportunity to opt-out of receiving such information. By electing not to opt-out, we will assume we have your consent to receive similar information and communications in the future. We will always ensure that our opt-out notices are clear, conspicuous and easy to activate.

Handling Complaints

We take all complaints about privacy seriously and will investigate each complaint to determine the cause and take appropriate action as necessary. If you have a complaint about the handling of your personal information or about our privacy practices, please contact us at support@quickclaim.io

Validity and document management

This document is valid as of 06/12/2023.

The owner of this document is the ISC, who must check and, if necessary, update the document at least once a year.

When evaluating the effectiveness and adequacy of this document, the following criteria need to be considered:

  • number of incidents and enquiries arising in relation to privacy policy
  • updates to Australian Privacy Act
  • updates in Auth0 privacy policy
